The Expedition Shop wants to make your order process as hassle-free as possible. All orders placed before 1pm will be shipped the same day. After 1 pm we cannot guarantee your order will be shipped the same day due to our postal collections but we will do our best.
UK Postage:
Free shipping is provided for orders over £75 orders under this rate are charged at a flat rate of £4.95.
All UK orders are shipped as standard by either Royal Mail tracked 48 hours or Parcel Force 2 day tracked. There may be some post code exceptions, whereby delivery may take a bit longer.
At checkout there is an option to upgrade your delivery to Royal Mail Special Delivery which is guaranteed by 1pm the next working day. If for any reason such as size & weight there may be additional costs to this service we will be in touch.
If you require any other delivery service, please get in touch and the team will be happy to arrange for you.
International Shipping
Goods are shipped exclusive of UK VAT. International orders may be subject to duties, import fees, and taxes imposed by their respective governments. It is your responsibility to contact your government import office to determine if any additional charges from your government may be added to your order. These additional charges are not from The Expedition Shop, they are imposed by your country's various government agencies. All purchases over £30 are insured during transportation.
All International orders are shipped via express services where possible. Our delivery costs are calculated by weight and size, to receive an estimate shipping quote please select your country using the drop-down menu below. Please note, that the price shown at checkout is a quote and although we try to ensure this is accurate as possible, on occasion we may request additional postage.
Many of our international orders arrive within the week however if you require the item urgently please contact us to discuss further shipping options.
BFPO - All BFPO deliveries will be delivered to BFPO Northolt via Royal Mail where they will then be distributed to the correct locations. Please be aware that once your parcel is handed over to BFPO we cannot track the parcel and will have no control over its delivery. Size and weight restrictions apply.
BFPO deliveries must be sent via Royal Mail and it is the customers' responsibility to ensure they choose this delivery option, as well as make sure that the order is within the weight and size restrictions.
BFPO orders which are returned to us for reasons including unsuccessful delivery will be refunded automatically less any postage costs.
All orders which are shipped to BFPO addresses outside of the EU will qualify for VAT-free sales. When you initially place your order the VAT is included, but don't worry, email info@theexpeditionshop.co.uk and our Customer Service Team will confirm that the BFPO address is outside of the EU and refund the VAT amount to your original method of payment. Please make sure you use "GB" in the country field otherwise you will have to pay the international shipping charges.
The Expedition Shop Click & Collect - Our Click & Collect service allows you to pre-order an item ready for your collection from either our Ambleside Shop during shop hours 7 days per week 9 am-5.30 pm.
Additionally, we can offer a late collection until 9pm on selected days from the Ambleside Climbing wall, please contact us to arrange a Climbing Wall collection.
